#CoW- A Digital Art Gallery

By 22nd April 2014CoW

Last week Rijksmuseum launched a DOOH campaign that converted sixteen subway stations, in Amsterdam and Rotterdam, into digital art galleries. The museum utilised 75 digital billboards and 18 large horizontal screens, alongside 6 bus shelters. A number of the screens are also interactive allowing passersby to upload images and see their faces appear in real-time on the paintings (these images are posted back to a Facebook page). During rush hour only paintings can be seen, however during off-peak hours information about the artwork is also displayed – a good use of dwell time relevant advertising.
