BT Sport wanted to generate awareness about the launch of their new channel, in particular pushing the key message that it was free for existing and new broadband customers.
A second burst of their campaign needed to focus on expressing the brand’s personality and highlighting the matches and fixtures available on BT Sport.


The LIVEPOSTER™ platform enabled BT Sport to deliver a range of messages to match the scale of the launch. Multiple template designs gave BT Sport’s advertising agency creative freedom and complete control throughout the campaign.

A social template used social media feeds from fans to create real-time polls which were then displayed as infographics. A live clock template provided a countdown to the launch, and on key match days the LIVEPOSTER™ platform updated fans about game scores using data from Opta.


Over the course of the campaign, LIVEPOSTER™ deployed 216 unique adverts on multiple road, rail and retail formats across five different media owner networks, as well as generating over 130 fan polls based on social media feeds.

As a result brand awareness for BT Sport’s launch reached 67%.
