AB InBev wanted to take a dynamic approach to their Corona outdoor advertising, by encouraging people to visit desirable ‘aboveground’ locations, and enjoy a Corona as the sun sets.
Liveposter ran a unique countdown to sunset every day during the campaign live period, according to pre-approved sunset data. We were able to serve the relevant creative which communicated the relevant ‘aboveground’ location nearest to each digital screen.
Liveposter did this by creating dynamic poster templates within the creative which meant the relevant bars/pubs were shown at the right time at the right screen, and another which contained a countdown running down in real-time to communicate the time left to sunset.
Weather data was used by panel location to identify relevant days on which to serve the sunset messaging. When sunset conditions weren’t met, a generic ‘Bottle Films’ Corona creative would play out instead.
